Dating in Jaipur: first dates and weekend trips

Updated · by the SwipeTrip team

Jaipur's forts give it some of the best sunset dates in India. Nahargarh and Amer look out over the pink city, and the old bazaars are made for wandering. Winter is the season to go out, and Pushkar, Ranthambore and the stepwells of the Dhundhar region are easy first trips.

The best season for a first trip from Jaipur

October to March is the time to go out: days are warm and nights are cool, and forts, bazaars and desert towns are pleasant to explore. Pack a jacket for December and January evenings.

From April to June, temperatures regularly go above 40°C, so plan sunrise and sunset outings. The monsoon, July to September, turns the Aravallis green but closes Ranthambore's core zones.

At sunset spots like Nahargarh, the roads back are winding and dark. Leave before it gets too late, and make sure you have your own ride home.
